Probably one of the best locations for an

Amateur Radio event......

This great venue - Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre - is a clean and bright sports and leisure complex that has a large hall, smart meeting rooms for lectures and facilities for the disabled. It enjoys excellent catering and is located within a few minutes walk of a variety of hotels.

Nearby there are variety of restaurants, a 16 screen cinema, ten pin bowling and many national retailers.

The famous Gordon Craig Theatre, with its own magnificent Christie organ, is located in the Arts & Leisure Centre.

"Perhaps the best thing about the

Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre

is its accessibility."

Located less than two miles from the A1M, all the major roads in the area are dual carriageways. Within a few minutes walk there are acres of tarmac-surfaced car parks. Stevenage mainline railway station is literally a one minute walk away. It is on the east coast GNER mainline from London to Edinburgh. Most trains call at the town, indeed the station is linked directly to the venue by a footbridge, making the event the easiest ever to get to by train.
